MEDHOST Announces Appointment of Chief Information Officer and Chief Development Officer

Key promotions align the company’s IT, Product Development, and Development organizations to continually drive long-term success for its customers.

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – May 2, 2019 – MEDHOST, Inc., a provider of market-leading fully integrated Electronic Health Record (EHR), and other clinical, financial and healthcare engagement solutions and services, is excited to announce that it has added two highly experienced leaders to its executive leadership suite. Jason Myers, has been promoted to Chief Information Officer at MEDHOST while Rick Brown has been promoted to Chief Development Officer at MEDHOST.

Jason Myers, Chief Information Officer

Bringing decades of experience in Information Management in healthcare industry, Jason’s responsiblities will include defining and delivering IT strategy and capabilities across the enterprise including infrastructure, security, technical services, and cloud services. Additionally, Jason will also be responsible for giving oversight and direction to IT and business leaders on strategy, standards, and opportunities for shared services and building economies of scale

Jason joined MEDHOST in 2013 and has held several positions at MEDHOST with his most recent being Vice President of IT and Cloud Services. Prior to joining MEDHOST, he has worked for various organizations in the Manufacturing, Banking, and Healthcare fields.

Rick Brown, Chief Development Officer

Rick has more than three decades of technology solutions development experience in the healthcare industry. In his new role, Rick will lead the company’s product development strategy, vision, development, and delivery to help ensure customers’ continued success through market-leading platforms and solutions.

Joining the team in 1990 as a Software Programmer, Rick was one of the first people hired by MEDHOST, which was then known as Healthcare Management Systems, Inc. Since then he has held various positions within the company that have included leadership roles overseeing product development, quality control, and customer support and has made several notable key contributions.
