MEDHOST Customers Achieve High Standards of Care Quality and Patient Safety with HIMSS EMRAM Success

HIMSS Analytics is a not-for-profit subsidiary of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) that has developed EMR Adoption ModelSM (EMRAM) based on compliance, market trends and delivery of healthcare. As of 2015 Q4, only 27 percent of U.S. hospitals tracked by HIMSS Analytics have reached Stage 6 on EMRAM whereas Stage 7 is the highest level attainable and only 4.2 percent of U.S. hospitals tracked by HIMSS Analytics have reached Stage 7 on EMRAM.¹

HIMSS Stage 6 designation shows substantial advancement in information technology capabilities facilitating electronic medical record (EMR) adoption. Twenty seven of MEDHOST customers have been recognized by HIMSS Analytics for reaching Stage 6 rank on EMRAM and about 97 of MEDHOST customers are currently in Stage 5.
